Memory Lane Quilt Shop

About Us

In 1997, I took my very first quilting class and was immediately hooked! Unable to shake my obsession with quilting, I opened Memory Lane Quilt Shop in 2006. It wasn't long, though, before we outgrew our business space and, in 2011, we moved to our current location, at 1626 N. Magnolia Avenue, where we enjoy a large storefront with a long arm quilting area and a spacious, comfortable classroom.

Our mission is to create a fun, welcoming, and inspirational environment for quilters of all skill levels. We believe that by providing quality products, services, and educational opportunities, our customers will be more creative, efficient, and enjoy greater success with their favorite projects. Our friendly, supportive store is a popular local gathering place where customers can socialize with other like-minded folks who share similar creative passions and enjoy the camaraderie of our close knit community.

We have a team of incredible employees who are passionate about helping our customers achieve their creative goals. They're a talented bunch of folks who are always happy to answer questions, big or small, and give each customer the individualized attention they deserve!

Meet the Staff

Chris and Elliott Stiasny, Owners

Chris got the quilting bug in 1997 when she took her first quilting class.     She loves working with batiks.  She wears many hats in the shop...owner, manager and long arm quilter.  In addition, she designs quilt patterns.

Elliott works full time  elsewhere.  He is available as needed for computer support, handyman and occasionally can even be seen helping in the shop!

Tina Tindell,  Supervisor

What an asset Tina is to have at the shop!   She can be seen doing just about everything.  She manages the front end, runs our club, teaches and assists the office.  In addition, she makes many of our samples and is our binding guru!
